I have had good luck with a little shop on E95 and 1st ave.
I've used them for general services, and a friend with an S3 has had some nice suspension and engine work done by them.
The owners are the ex-mechanics from when the shop was named something else. Nice guys, and they are pretty skillful."

I have an old MG and I had taken it everywhere in town only to get outrageous repair bills and not even having my bike fixed or something else wrong with it when I picked it up. I don't know how I found this place but when I went for an inspection sticker (after 5 other shops refused to give me one because they wanted to do bogus repairs) Speed Motorcycles inspected my bike, checked all the things you check in an inspection and gave me the sticker. Then I decided to take my bike in to see if they could get it running good. When I got it back a few days later, my MG ran better than I ever thought it could. When they showed me the bill, I went out and bought a new helmet with all the money I saved. Every friend I have sent to this shop has thanked me for telling them about it. A real fast, friendly and honest motorcycle repair shop in NYC."
